Up for sale is a very rare tin Coca Cola thermometer. This is tin (not embossed).

Dates to the late 1930s. A very rare piece, this, along with a back panel advertising coke, were meant to be sandwiched between a screen door and screwed in place, to advertise Coke both upon entry/exit of the establishment. NO TUBE OR BULB CAGE. WHAT YOU SEE PICTURED IS WHAT YOU GET. Lots of rust and metal LOSS along the edges, as clearly pictured.

Wear around the lower thermostat/bulb indentation. O/w light scattered surface wear. Still has quite good color and shine. I did not attempt to clean this. Still would hang great as a small, and good, honest Coke sign. They reproduce this style thermometer, but this is 100% authentic, guaranteed. This piece complete in nice condition is worth thousands (MANY thousands). Priced at a fraction, for obvious reasons! Great little piece to hang for a fraction of a mint one.
