The Revenant Screen-used Movie Prop - Fryman's Stunt Rifle w/ COA Fletcher. Internationally acclaimed as one of the finest films ever made, "The Revenant" set a new high bar in movie making with its powerful performances and spectacular cinematography.

Here's a screen-used prop from the milestone movie - the rifle carried by actor Brendan Fletcher as "Fryman, " complete with its Certificate of Authenticity. This is Fryman's'Stunt Rifle,' a lifesize movie prop that can be seen during the movie, especially in the beginning as the Arikara war party attacks the trappers, and again later at the fort. This is a non-functioning prop it can't cock, fire, etc. Designed by Hollywood professionals to look authentic onscreen. It appears to be largely cast in a dense, rigid foam rubber, painstakingly finished to look like a weathered firearm of its time.

There are also metal and cast resin accents, and rawhide sections lacquered to the stock. Fryman's Rifle measures 42 ½" long x 4 ½" high at its tallest. Some of the photos here show the prop Rifle with a Revenant DVD for scale.

Any wear or light damage to the Rifle happened during production, and it has not been retouched in any way since - only carefully displayed in a glass cabinet within a climate controlled collection. Prop Store's COA measures 6" wide x 4" tall, embossed with their corporate seal, holograph stamped, and signed in ink, guaranteeing providence of the rifle for life.
