The Prop ENGINE ROOM COMPONENT is made of styrene and ABS plastic and is a crafted combination of built, cast and vacu-form pieces.

The FX MINIATURE PROP ENGINE ROOM COMPONENT was one of the engine room modules aboard the ill-fated Montana-Class submarine and measures approximately 18-1/2 inches long, 5-1/4 inches high, 6 inches deep and weighs 1 lb. Cameron's then cutting-edge technology, engineered by 7 separate Special Effects teams, including Steve Johnson's XFX, Wonderworks and Dream Quest Images, won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects in 1990.
