The Operatives (Chiwetel Ejiofor) exploded(Hero) pistol from Joss Whedons 2005 science fiction action film Serenity. Serenity is the story of Captain Malcolm Reynolds (Nathan Fillion) and the crew of the spaceship Serenity, whose lives of smuggling and cargo-running are interrupted by a psychic passenger (Summer Glau) with a dangerous secret and an Alliance agent (Chiwetel Ejiofor) pursuing her.

This Prop weapon was used in the final scenes of the movie during the showdown between The Operative and Mal. The futuristic-looking pistol is damaged when Mal shoots the gun from The Operatives hand. This piece is made from resin plated with chrome and has a section blown off the front that has been scorched with real flame to look as realistic as possible. This piece has some scratches from its use during production but overall is in excellent condition.

Materials : Resin, Chrome, Ferrous Metals. Item size - 9.45" x 7.09" x 1.57 (24cm x 18cm x 4cm).
