In the provided screen grabs, you see Leech Woman kill Frank Forrester (portrayed by the late Matt Roe) by regurgitating blood-sucking leeches onto his chest. Clear tubing is attached to the leech which was used to inflate it and pump fake blood. The tubing still contains faint remnants of the blood, as seen in the photos.

In the last screen grab, you can see the tube attached to the leech, which I have highlighted with a green oval. The leech seems to be made of a thin rubber compound which has deteriorated somewhat over the past 28 years.
