This Fine Empire Fire Screen weighs approximately 15 pounds and measures 38 ¾ in height, 24 ¾ in width, and 14 ½ in depth. This lovely Empire Period Fire Screen is constructed of rich mahogany and is graced with elegant rounded columns that accent the fabulous rich needlepoint insert of a Victorian Courting Couple in a flower garden. This rich needlepoint insert is done in shades of ivory, butter cream, rose, gold, green, and blue and is in excellent condition which leads us to believe that it was probably not original to the piece.
