Piece of the Death Star model used in George Lucas Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. These pieces were part of a large model set which was used in the films finale as the forces of the Rebel Alliance attacked the Imperial Death Star. The Death Star piece is made of biscuit foam with a grey paint finish, this piece is approximately 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm/ 3 in x 3 in and was created by ILM model makers for use in creating the large filming miniature of the Death Star surface. The item also includes a signed original Production Used Story Board depicting Darth Vader and the two Tie Fighters as they fly through the Death Star trench.
This piece is signed by producer Robert Watts. These props come beautifully presented in a framed display that features a laser-cut mount board with the films title and a description of the two pieces. The frame has a hinged front panel allowing quick and easy access to the props.
