Mad Magazine TV Screen Used Puppet Character Burned Vance from Flammable

  

Vance who was used in the Season 1, episode 26 music video parody of Katy Perrys song Firework entitled Flammable in which all of the multimedia characters get set on fire. I have been professionally building and puppeteering for television and film for 30 years and built and puppeteered the puppets used in the video.

For this video I built 2 versions of the puppet: 1 normal and 1 scorched so we didnt damage the original and could reuse him on other sketches. The normal puppet reappeared with a different hairstyle for another sketch called Spongewow on episode 10 of season 2. Here is a link to information on the character and sketch. This is the actual Burned Vance puppet used in the sketch.

He is a fully functional one of a kind hand and rod style puppet custom built of reticulated foam and custom dyed Antron fleece. He measures approximately 18 from waist to top of head. Character rights remain the property of myself and MAD/Cartoon Network. Puppet includes a display stand, fabric cover bag, and (1) arm control rod. This is a very unique item and would make an incredible addition to any MAD collection.
