This vintage working Music Box with a twirling ballerina was made by REUGE Swiss Musical Movement and appears on screen in scene 108A of the 2019 film, Knives Out. This is the one and only hero used in the film and belongs to Jamie Lee Curtis character, Linda Drysdale. The Music Box comes with a COA as shown in the images posted to this listing. The box itself is in BEYOND EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age! All pieces parts are accounted for and are in their original working order.

The exterior of the wooden box itself appears well polished and without blemish. The interior has a few signs of age as shown in the photos, but still is in Excellent Condition for its age! The ballerina easily attaches and dances with the movement of the melody once the music box is carefully wound from the bottom. More About the Music Box.

This vintage working music box, with attachable dancing ballerina was crafted by REUGE Swiss Musical Movement. This is noted on the underside of the box (please refer to the images posted) along with the melody that is played which although printed on the box as Ueber den Wellen (more appropriately known as Über den Wellen) by Rosas. Im not an expert so perhaps this printed on the box intentionally given the technology and language used at the time of its production. I assure you that as long as this listing remains active all items are being sent from a healthy home.
