Doolittle Raid PEARL HARBOR Original Film Prop Screen Used MaeWest WW2 Life Vest

  

For your consideration is an ACTUAL film prop used in the production of the 2001 WW2 Movie, PEARL HARBOR. This vest was used by Rafe's (Ben Affleck) tail gunner during the famous Doolittle Raid scene at the end of the movie. All provenance, and original Letter Certificate of Authenticity from the London Prop store will be included. This is a notarized/stamped COA, not a cheap color copy of a fake certificate. You can see by the pics that this is an actual, authentic, WW2 Mae West vest commissioned in 1944.

The filmmakers wanted the most authentic stuff to be used in their film. Although not complete historical accuracy....

The Mae West vest was modified in the production to be cut and bloodied, as to illustrate one of the Doolittle Raiders being shot in their mission in China. This was done by the film production crew, not me. The only thing I have done with this vest in have it on display for the past 10 years. Look to the screen shot pic to see the actual film used vest, before they bloodied in for production. What is NOT included is the display stand.
